GKND: Galactic Kids Next Door (fan project)
My take on the what-could-have-been a Galactic-Kids-Next-Door spin-off series. I'm a huge fan of the original show and since CN had brought back a few of its classic franchises (Powerpuff Girls, Samurai Jack) I thought about why not also bringing back this one? Tom Warburton pitched a GKND pilot around 2015 that got A LOT of attention worldwide but sadly was shelved by CN for reasons unknown. My take not only respects and follows his original concept idea (an intergalactic conflict with an alien version of KND) but also addresses some of the unresolved plot elements of the original show, like the secret undercover organization known as TND: Teens-Next-Door.
